Before You Arrive

Frequently Asked Questions

We keep the experience mysterious — never the information you need to feel safe. Here’s everything you need to know before attending. Some experiences are still best discovered in person.

Verification & Booking
Every guest applying to attend a Vesper event is checked, and must be a member of SpicyMatch, the only place Vesper tickets are ever sold. This isn’t an administrative hurdle; it’s what allows a room of strangers to feel safe enough to become a room of connection. You’ll never be asked to buy a ticket anywhere else.
Yes. Every guest is verified before they’re able to attend, and SpicyMatch is where profiles are checked, tickets are booked and payment is confirmed. If you don’t have an account yet, you can join at zero cost, complete your profile, and apply from our Events page.
Not on its own, clicking “attending” begins your application. Your place is only confirmed once your profile is verified and your booking payment is complete. We’ll guide you through each step.
Every application is read and replied to personally, by us, not a bot. Once you apply on SpicyMatch, we’ll message you there directly to start getting to know you and guide you through verification ourselves. Since SpicyMatch profiles have their own visibility settings, it’s worth checking yours before applying if you’d rather not be publicly listed as attending. Booking, payment and identity verification all happen through SpicyMatch, built specifically for people in the lifestyle rather than a general ticketing platform. If you ever have a concern about your privacy, or anything connected to your attendance, contact us directly at [email protected] and we’ll sort it.
Dress & Arrival
Elegant. Think sophisticated evening wear rather than a costume, Vesper’s dress code exists to help set the tone of the room, not to catch anyone out. Guests who book in receive dress inspiration ahead of the event as part of their pre-event messages. We do on occasion have a theme which guests can lean into as much or as little as they want.
Bring your ticket confirmation, ID for verification on the door, and anything you and your partner have discussed you might need for the evening (see “Prepared” below). Full arrival, parking and cloakroom details are sent to confirmed guests ahead of the event.
No, a room is booked separately and is limited in number. Booking a room means no clock-watching, no taxi, and no deciding who’s driving home: you can check in, get ready at your leisure, enjoy the whole night, and simply disappear upstairs when you’re ready. Once rooms are gone, you can still attend Vesper, but you’ll need to arrange accommodation elsewhere. Rooms include your ticket for the event.
Prepared & Respectful
Bring protection, communicate openly, and look after yourself and others. If you’re attending with a partner, we encourage having a conversation before you arrive: what you’re both excited about, what’s off the table, how you’ll check in with each other during the night, and what happens if one of you connects and the other doesn’t. Have the conversation before you need the conversation.
Consent, privacy, discretion and boundaries are the foundation everything else at Vesper stands on. Yes, no, and changing your mind are all acceptable, at any point, for any reason — for you and for everyone else in the room. A “no” is simply useful information, and it’s always respected.
Not at all. A successful night might mean meeting someone fascinating, flirting, dancing, watching, reconnecting with your partner, feeling sexy, almost doing something, or simply being somewhere you can be yourself. Sex doesn’t determine whether your night was successful — you do. Your evening, your boundaries, your choices.
Meeting People
This is exactly what Vesper Hosts are there for. Rather than leaving you to find your feet, our hosts actively help introduce guests to one another. When you book, you can tell us how you’d like your evening to begin, from plenty of introductions to settling in and mingling naturally in your own time.
You’ll know everything you need to feel safe and prepared — what you’re booking, where you’re going, what’s expected, and how the evening works. Some entertainment, touches and moments are left for you to discover once you’re there. Some experiences are best discovered in person.
Still Have a Question?
Reach out through your SpicyMatch messages once you’ve applied, or get in touch via our event listing — we’re happy to help before you book, not just after.
